Mary Ann Jansma, age 49 of Randolph, died on Thursday, January 9, 2014 at her home, surrounded by her loved ones.

A memorial service will be held at 11 A.M. on Monday, January 13, 2014 at Randolph Community Funeral Home, 208 S. High Street, Randolph with Chaplain Dennis Richards officiating.

Mary's family will receive relatives and friends on Sunday evening from 5-8 P.M. at the funeral home, and on Monday from 10 A.M. until the hour of service.

Mary Ann Jansma, 49, of Randolph, passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, January 9th, 2014, surrounded by her loving family.

Mary was born on October 8th, 1964, the daughter of James and Janet (Tessman) Nehmer. She was united in marriage to Thomas “Tom” Jansma on October 18th, 1980 at the Friedens Lutheran Church in Randolph. Mary was co-owner of Mounds Petfood Warehouse and owner/operator of Bozidar Ranch. She had a great passion for all animals and enjoyed caring for all her four-legged friends. Mary’s greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren and making every moment special to them. She enjoyed cooking for her family and teaching her grandchildren her “secret ingredients.” Mary always believed in paying it forward and always helped out the underdog. She was a loving and caring wife, mother and grandmother, and always put others before herself. She will be deeply missed.

Mary is survived by her husband, Tom of Randolph; her children, Jason Jansma and fiancé Tasha Berndt of Randolph, Amanda (Russell) Westover of Randolph; her three grandchildren: Riley, Allie and Ryder Westover; her mother, Janet Nehmer of Beaver Dam, two sisters: Diane Wapneski and Sue Jansma of Randolph. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Mary was preceeded in death by her father on Nov. 6th, 2006.

Randolph Community Funeral Home is serving the family.
