Barbara Stiemsma

Barbara Eileen Stiemsma, age 84, of Fond du Lac, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, June 15, 2025 at Mercy Medical Center in Oshkosh.

Barbara was born on August 24, 1940, daughter of Louis and Irene (Redeker) Heeringa. She was an office assistant at Fond du Lac County Senior Services, where she devoted her time and energy to helping others. Barb was a loving family member, always cherishing the moments spent with her grandchildren. She had a wonderful sense of humor, sharing great jokes that brought joy to those around her. Barb found great pleasure in chatting on the phone with her sons, strengthening their bond with laughter and love.

Beyond her family, Barb was an avid fan of the Milwaukee Brewers, known for her ability to recall stats and players with ease. She thoroughly enjoyed reading and often reminisced about her joyful trips to Washington. A true supporter of QVC, she delighted in finding special gifts for her loved ones, showcasing her generous spirit. Barb leaves behind fond memories and legacy of humor and love that will be remembered by all who knew her.

Barb is survived by her four sons, David (Jennifer) Stiemsma, Scot (Joan) Stiemsma, Timothy (Louri) Stiemsma and Ryan Stiemsma; five grandchildren, Riley (Hannah) Stiemsma, Bryceton Stiemsma, Hannah Stiemsma, Paul (Michelle) Schultz and Rachael (Josue) Luna; nine great grandchildren; sister Mary Rigg and brother Lloyd (Joyce) Heeringa; further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation for Barb will be held from 11:00 – 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 28, 2025, at Randolph Community Funeral Home 208 South High Street, Randolph, WI.

A memorial service will follow at 1:00 p.m. at Randolph Community Funeral Home with Pastor Keith Buist officiating. Inurnment will take place at Friesland Cemetery.
