Billie Ann Deaver

Billie Ann Deaver, age 71 of Waupun, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Tuesday, June 17, 2025, at Ascension Mercy Hospital in Oshkosh, Wisconsin.

Billie was born on November 20, 1953, in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, the daughter of William and Charmaine (Bronson) Thill. Affectionately known to her dad as "Punky," she fully embraced her nickname living it out with her unique sass and spunky spirit. On July 27, 1974, she was united in marriage to Kenneth Deaver. Billie had a passion for crafting, dedicating many hours to sewing, where she poured her creativity and care into her beautiful home. Her love for the outdoors was evident in her enthusiasm for hunting and UTV rides, where she found peace in nature. A true animal lover, she formed bonds with creatures of all kinds, especially her pets.

In her younger years, Billie enjoyed playing softball, showcasing her competitive spirit. She was a loyal fan of the Packers and Brewers. Billie cherished the moments spent with her family and friends, always finding joy in gatherings. Her vivacious spirit, straightforwardness, and love for life will be profoundly missed by all who knew her.

Billie is survived by her husband, Kenneth Deaver; daughters, Samantha (Jay) Newton and Peggy (Andy) Leonard; grandchildren, Shaina (Tyler) Burbach, Jacob Newton, Sydney Newton, Keegan (Taylor) Leonard, Cody (fiancé Kaysie Chitwood) Leonard, Matthew Leonard and Kate Leonard; great granddaughter, Alaina Burbach; siblings, Sandee Bickelhaupt, Jodi Will and Jon Thill; sisters-in-law, Brenda Kibbel, Carla (Earl) Norenberg and Mae Strehlow; brothers-in-law, Mike Deaver, Jake (Katie) Deaver and David (Deb) Deaver; and canine companions, Rainbeau and Joey. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; father and mother-in-law, Ames and Veronica Deaver; brother, Rick Thill; brothers-in-law, Ron Deaver, Todd Strehlow and Norm Kibbel.

A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, August 3, 2025 with details to follow.
