Bonnie Lou Stevens

Bonnie Lou Stevens age 78, of Waupun, passed away on Friday, August 28, 2026, at home.

Bonnie was born on August 20, 1948, in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin, the daughter of Lawrence and Marcella (Hoch) Hiley. She graduated from Randolph High School with the class of 1966. On November 11, 1979, she married John Stevens at Trinity Methodist Church in Beaver Dam.

Bonnie lived a life shaped by hard work, creativity, and love for the people and animals around her. She began her professional career at American Family Insurance. In the years that followed, she worked as a cheesemaker’s assistant for more than 30 years, a role that reflected her steady work ethic and dedication. In her 60s, Bonnie began a new chapter as a Certified Nursing Assistant, caring for others with compassion. After retirement, she continued to share her warm presence as a Walmart greeter for a couple of years.

Bonnie is survived by her loving husband, John Stevens; only daughter, Kimberly (Roger Sullivan) Stevens; grandson, Abel John Grace; and brothers, Donald (Bonnie) Hiley and Richard (Patricia) Hiley. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Burial will take place at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 2, 2026, at Oakwood Cemetery in Beaver Dam, WI 53916.
