Brandon Scott Burdick, age 42 of Markesan, passed away on Sunday, October 27, 2024, at his home in the loving arms of his wife.
Brandon was born on October 16, 1982, son of Jeff Burdick and Lori Croucher. He was united in marriage to Amy Fingard on September 16, 2016, in Brighton Colorado. Brandon was a terminal manager at Watco and more recently delivered meals on wheels in the local area. He had a love for salt water fish and enjoyed playing video games with his son. He loved exploring nature with his daughter. Brandon was known for his mechanical abilities; he could build or fix anything. His true skill lay in the artistry of his wood and laser engraving and repurposing items that he shared with his friends and family. Brandon had a big personality and loved to make others laugh. His family was the most important thing in life, and he was loved by everyone who knew him.
Brandon is survived by his wife, Amy Burdick; two children, daughter, Remington and son, Mack Burdick; parents, Jeff (Stacey) Burdick and mother Lori Dishman; aunts, Melissa (Chad) Droege, Staci (Geody) Mundy and Debra Keller; numerous cousins; paternal grandmother, Sue Burdick; parents-in-law, Howard (Julie) Fingard; sister-in-law, Jennifer (Kenny) Cooper; nephews, Sterling and Julian Cooper; other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Darrell (Beverly) Welsch and grandfather Gene Croucher; paternal grandfather, Gary Burdick.
A private gathering will be held. Should friends desire, contributions may be sent to the Brandon Burdick Benefit account at Horicon Bank 825 North Margaret Street, Markesan, WI 53946.
