Carl Peter Marschie

Carl Peter Marschie, age 38, of Cambria, passed away on Tuesday, February 24, 2026.

Carl was born on January 16, 1988, the son of Troy Dirks and Terry Marschie. He was a man who cherished the simple joys of life, finding happiness in the great outdoors, whether it was fishing or hiking. In his younger years, Carl shared many memorable moments playing football with his brother. His love for sports continued through the years as he became an avid fan of the Packers and the Badgers, always cheering for his teams with enthusiasm. As a father, Carl found true happiness in playing with his children, whether it was building with Legos or diving into video games. Above all else, his children were the light of his life, and he treasured every moment he spent with them.

Carl is survived by his children, Jaxson Wright, Tamara Marschie and Elleanore Marschie; father, Troy Dirks; brother, Brad Butterbrodt; sisters, Lisa (Zach) Torrison, Jessica (Brian) Zamora and Caysee Dirks; the mothers of his children, Cassandra Wright and Sondra Marschie; and his bonus mom, Debbie Dirks. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Terry Marschie; brothers, Michael and Dillion Dirks; and his grandparents.

A visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Friday, March 6, 2026, at Kohls Community Funeral Home, 405 West Main Street, Waupun, WI 53963.

A memorial service will follow at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, March 6, 2026, at Kohls Community Funeral Home with Pastor Rodney Brown officiating.
