Clinton Junior Smith, age 91 of Waupun, went to his heavenly home on Sunday, October 12, 2025, at the Christian Home in Waupun.

Clinton was born on September 8, 1934, in Pardeeville, WI, son of Clinton and Florence (Trimbell) Smith. He was united in marriage to Sylvia Posthuma on March 9, 1959, at First Randolph Christian Reformed Church. Clinton had a long- standing career, serving as a foreman for Rockwell for 32 years. He then dedicated 20 years to Silgan in Waupun. He also contributed to his community by driving a van for the youngsters of the Waupun School District. Clinton was known for his caring nature and deep faith, which shone through in everything he did. He had a remarkable knack for fixing things, often lending a hand to neighbors and friends by repairing broken lawn mowers, chainsaws and many household items. His talent also extended to crafting furniture for his church, family and friends, showcasing his creativity and love for his craft. Clinton was a member of Bethel Christian Reformed Church. Among his many interests, he had a special fondness for his 1929 model A Ford and his airplane. Attending car shows brought him great joy, allowing his love of automobiles with others.

Clinton is survived by his loving wife Sylvia Smith; two children, Dawn (Brian) Frankovis of Sheboygan and his son, Dean Smith of Madison; four grandchildren, Megan (Paul) Stuebs, Jory (Torre) Kok, Brennon (Jordyn) Kok and Maylee Kok and her fiancé Connor Brust; thirteen great grandchildren, Liam, Nora, Selah, Simon, Luke Stuebs; Teddy, Emmy Jo and Kyla Kok; Elijah, Elyse, Mercy, Micah and Judah Kok; sister-in law, Alice Posthuma and brother-in-law, Ronald Buteyn; further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Ardis (Harold) Robarge and his brother, Byron (Ethel) Smith; numerous brothers and sisters-in-law.

A visitation will be held from 5:00- 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 16, 2025, at Kohls Funeral Home 405 West Main Street and again on Friday, October 17, 2025, from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Bethel Christian Reformed Church 410 S West Street, Waupun, WI.

Funeral service for Clinton will follow at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 17, 2025, at Bethel Christian Reformed Church with Rev. Kurt Ritsema officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Mound Cemetery.
