Randolph

Ellen Louise Jung-Woreck, age 67, of Randolph, Wisconsin, passed away on Friday, May 1, 2026. Ellie was born on November 19, 1958, in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin, the daughter of Howard and Audrey (Jenkins) Jung. She was a very creative woman who found joy in knitting, gardening, diamond dots, and sharing delicious baked goods with friends and family. Her favorite place in life was her warm and colorful home, Ellie’s Hilltop Haven. Here she enjoyed the beauty and serenity of nature, hosting gatherings for friends and family, and spending time with her husband Peter and their beloved dogs, Emerson, Chloe, Lilly, and Tillie. Ellie appreciated the joys of life’s simple pleasures.

Ellie graduated from Cambria High School in 1977. She pursued multiple career paths all of them involved making life better for those around her. She began her working life writing and publishing a local independent newspaper while caring for her elderly grandfather. As a musician who shared joy with others through music, Ellie started teaching piano lessons over 40 years ago, a true calling that she continued throughout her life. Ellie taught over 60 students, including multiple generations from several families. In addition, she served as the choir director of her church for over 15 years, and played regularly at weekly church services. One of her greatest joys was accompanying her daughter and granddaughter for special church performances.

In January of 1992, she started her work as the Deputy Clerk-Treasurer at Randolph Village, and in 1999 she became the Clerk-Treasurer, providing over 30 years of dedicated service to her community. During her time working at the Village, she also served for eight years as an EMT. Whether at the piano, providing emergency care, or at her desk at the Village, Ellie touched the hearts and lives of everyone she met, and made their lives safer and more beautiful.

Ellie is survived by her husband, Peter Woreck; daughter, Taryn (Rob) McKinley; stepdaughter, Tracy Woreck; stepson, Peter (Jaime) Woreck; granddaughter, Anyia McKinley and step-granddaughter, Mackenna Stevens; her siblings, Mary Jung-Martin, Brian (Diane) Jung, and Michael (Pat) Jung. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved infant son, Brandon; brother, Paul Jung; and brother-in-law, George Martin.
