Gerda Philipp age 97, of Beaver Dam formerly of Randolph has gained her wings and reunited with her “Guys” in Heaven on Thursday, May 18, 2023.
Gerda was born on May 28, 1925, in Germany Bielefeld, daughter of August and Olga (Crowshage) Wittenbreder. She was united in marriage to Heinz Philipp. Gerda was an avid Packer fan and enjoyed gardening. She looked forward to her weekly gambling trips with Kim’s Tours. Gerda was a very caring woman and will be deeply missed.
Gerda is survived by her special friends, Carol (Rich) Vande Zande, Vicki (Kendall) Bollerud; grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband Heinz Philipp in 1989; two sons, Wolfgang Philipp in 1980 and Dennis Philipp in 2002; one sister.
Visitation will be held from 12:30 – 1:00 P.M. on Monday, May 22, 2023, at Randolph Cemetery with graveside service to follow at 1:00 p.m.
