Jane Nehmer, age 80, passed away Thursday, May 11, 2017, at Randolph Health Services-Continental Manor.
Jane was born August 15, 1936, to Lambert and Josie (Wynsma) Dykstra. She was united in marriage to Donald Nehmer on March 25, 1957, in Dodge County, WI. She enjoyed listening to her Christian CDs, and embroidering pillow cases and dishtowels for family. Jane loved puzzles, books, shopping and spending time with her grandchildren.
Jane is survived by her two daughters, Debbie (Richard “Sam”) Schneiter and Rhonda (Jerry) Streekstra; four grandchildren, Holly Streekstra, Dustin Schneiter, Derek Schneiter and Deanna Schneiter (Kenny); daughter-in-law, Kathy Nehmer; two sisters, Winnetta DeJong and Jelene Van Dyk and two brothers, Arnold (Gerrildene) Dykstra and William (Ardell) Dykstra; sisters-in-law, Anne Dykstra and Esther Dykstra; brother-in-law, Dick (Anita) Nehmer and close friend, Carol Nehmer; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald; two sons, Donald and Dennis Nehmer; five brothers, Henry, Peter, Raymond, Alvin and George Dykstra; sisters-in-law, Lorraine and Marie Dykstra and Helen Morgan; two brothers-in-law Bill DeJong and Marvin Van Dyk.
Graveside service for Jane will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Monday, May 15, 2017 at the Randolph Cemetery with Pastor Keith Buist.
A memorial fund has been directed to the Second Christian Reformed Church of Randolph, 332 Tamarack Street, Randolph.
The family would like to thank the nurses and staff of Randolph Health Services for their wonderful care they provided throughout Jane’s stay.
