Karen Sue Altman

Karen Sue Altman, age 69 of Fond du Lac, passed away on Tuesday, December 14, 2021, at her home with family at her side.

Karen was born on October 2, 1952, in Fond du Lac, daughter of David and Jeanette (Hass) Keipe. She was united in marriage to Gerald Altman on March 29, 1985. She enjoyed crafts and going camping with family and friends. Her passion in life was her grandchildren and family.

Karen is survived by her children, Tim Hebert (Megan) Wendt and Angela (Doug) Schaumburg; grandchildren, Tristen Hebert, Doug Schaumburg Jr., Madyson Schaumburg, Jesse Schaumburg; sister, Kathy (Larry) Zabel, step children, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald “Butch” Altman; daughter, Denni Hebert and her parents, David and Jeanette Keipe.

A visitation for Karen will be held at Rienzi Cemetery Chapel from 1:00 P.M. to 3:30 P.M. on Sunday, December 19, 2021 with a memorial service to follow.
