Lois Mary Kampstra, age 85 of Randolph, passed away on Friday, September 4, 2026, at Clearview in Juneau.

Lois was born on January 11, 1941, daughter of Sam and Arlene (Jahnke) Sutfin. Lois lived a life marked by devotion to her family, steady work, and simple joys. She graduated from Portage High School with the Class of 1959 and continued her education at Moraine Park in Beaver Dam, where she pursued secondary studies for a secretary degree. She went on to work for a number of years at Richards Insurance in Beaver Dam.

On September 19, 1959, she was united in marriage to Kenneth Kampstra in Portage, WI. They later moved to Tacoma, Washington for a year before settling in Randolph, WI. Lois found happiness in quiet and creative pastimes. She was an avid reader and could finish a book in nearly a day. She also loved to knit and crochet, and she had a special love for animals. Throughout the years, there was always a dog at home, reflecting the care and affection she gave so freely. She also attended Randolph United Methodist Church.

Lois is survived by her husband, Ken Kampstra; son, Todd (Jenny) Kampstra and her daughter, Krista (Daniel) Kastner; five grandchildren, Megan and Elizabeth Kampstra and Amber (Kem) Bono-Price, Jack and Owen Price; four great grandchildren; two brothers-in-law, William “Bill” Osterholt and John (Donna Witthun) Kampstra and her sister-in-law, Maxine Kampstra; further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her two sisters, Donna Osterholt and Darlene (Mel) Price; two brothers, Jim and Sam Jr. Suftin; sister-in-law, Kathryn (Joe) Von Allmen and two brothers-in-law, Richard and Paul Kampstra.

Private service will be held.
