Marjorie E. Cupery, age 90, of Randolph, went to be with her heavenly Savior on Monday, November 3, 2025, at Randolph Health Services.

Marjorie was born on August 23, 1935, a daughter of Andrew and Beulah DeBoer. Marge graduated from Randolph High School in the class of 1954. She was united in marriage to Donald M. Cupery Sr. on September 3, 1954, in Randolph, and was married for 35 years until Don passed away in 1990.

Marge devoted her life to sharing her love of music with others. She taught piano lessons from her home for 53 years, guiding many students as they explored their musical talents. She accompanied students at solo ensemble competitions and area choirs, making a lasting impact on the local music community. Her connection to music extended far beyond teaching, she served as an organist for the First Reformed Church and numerous other churches in Randolph and the surrounding areas for 72 years. She skillfully played not only the piano and organ but also the harmonica and bass drum. In her earlier years, one of her proudest accomplishments was accompanying a group called the “Joyful Heirs,” which brought many joyful moments to their audiences. Through her music, she shared her love of Christ and enriched the lives of many. Marge was a lifelong member of First Reformed Church.

Marge was a woman of many talents, she loved sewing, crocheting, and sharing many items she made with family and friends. She also found joy in creating beautiful chalk art and tending to her garden. She truly lived a life filled with creativity and love, and her contributions to her community will not be forgotten.

Marge is survived by her three children, Brenda (Daryl) Katsma, Donald (Jackie) Cupery Jr. and Melody Lentz; eight grandchildren, Heather (Kevin) Abel, Jodi (Nick) Matiash, Amber (Nathan) Stauffer, Don Cupery III, Kelsey (Greg) Kettner, Christopher Cupery, Tiffany (Chad) Buehler and Andrea (Lance) Lembitz and twenty-six great grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Betty Posthuma, Donna Vander Velde, Mary (Bill) Voelz, Doris Kok; further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Cupery; granddaughter, Heidi Katsma and great granddaughter, Sarah Abel; parents, brother, Gary (Jeanette) DeBoer, a brother, Isaac in infancy; parents-in-law, Sydney (Rena) Cupery; brothers and sisters-in-law, Harold (Verna) Cupery, George Posthuma, Harris Vander Velde, Wayne Tavs, and Byron (Patricia) Kok.

Visitation will be held from 9:00 -11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 8, 2025, at First Reformed Church 406 South High Street, Randolph.

A funeral service for Marge will follow at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 8, 2025, at First Reformed Church with Pastor Luke Baehr officiating. Burial will take place at Randolph Cemetery.
