Our beloved mother went to heaven on Friday, February 2, 2024, at the age of 83.
Patsy Ann Radtke (Jurgensen) was born at home in De Soto, Iowa, on May 28, 1940, to Gerhart “Ole” and Anna (Bundtzen) Jurgensen. She was the youngest of 11 children. Patsy married Dennis Radtke on September 5, 1959, at Trinity Lutheran church in Des Moines, Iowa. Family was everything to her. She earned an Associate Degree from MPTC and took up oil painting in her 50s, being mentored by her dear friend Carmie Dunning. Some of her happiest times were spent in Door County, in her art studio, and at the Radtke family cottage, Sunset View, on Silver Lake in Wautoma, Wisconsin.
Patsy is lovingly survived by her husband of 64 years, Dennis; her three children; Kathy (Steve) Jagow, Mark Radtke and Dan (Dee) Radtke; four grandsons, Andy (Caitlin) Jagow, Ben (Jacqueline) Jagow, Cody (Tam) Radtke and Adam (Rachel) Radtke; five great grandchildren, Colton, Cameryn and Cecelia Jagow and Eleanor and Everly Jagow; one sister, Lucy Clark, of Altoona, Iowa, and many dear nieces, nephews and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and nine brothers and sisters; Heinrich, Ida, Dan, Irene, Chuck, Louise, JoAnn, Bill and Robert.
Visitation for Patsy will be held from 10:00 to 12:00 P.M on Thursday, February 8, 2024, at Friedens Ev. Lutheran Church, 335 Jones Dr. Randolph. Funeral service will follow at 12:00 p.m. at church with Pastor Anthony Straseske. Burial will take place at Randolph Cemetery.
