Robert "Bob" Ward

Robert Thomas Ward, age 93 of Waupun passed away on Friday, October 2, 2026, at Prairie Ridge in Waupun.

Robert was born on November 6, 1932, son of Edward and Jeanette (LePine) Ward. On October 19, 1957, he married Helen George in Fond du Lac. Bob worked in quality control at Silgan of Waupun for 37 years. In 1974, Bob accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Savior. Since 1977, he worked in Prison Ministry with the Salvation Army and Prison Fellowship, offering his time and service in a meaningful and lasting way. Bob was a longtime member of Assembly of God Church of Waupun. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing, simple pleasures that brought him happiness through the years.

Bob will be remembered for his hard work, his commitment to ministry, love of family and the quiet, steady way he lived his life. May his memory be a blessing to all who knew him.

Bob is survived by his son, James (Anita) Ward; two grandchildren, Camille Ward and Jesse Ward; two great grandchildren, James and Veronica Ann Ward; brother-in-law, Don Burroughs; many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter, Theresa Ward; two sons, Thomas and Edward Ward; sister, Jacqueline Burroughs and his brother William (Kathryn) Ward.
