Robyn Vanderbush

Robyn Kay Vanderbush, age 62 of Waupun, lost her fight with COPD and lung cancer on Sunday, April 12, 2026.

Robyn was born in Waupun on February 13, 1964, daughter of James and Annie (Kottnitz) Vanderbush. She graduated from Waupun High School in the class of 1982. Robyn worked hard all of her life, she started her career with Our House of Large Sizes, then worked at Sand Knit until Eagle Knitting took over. She then worked at Christian home and spent 17 years working for Federal-Mogul. Robyn’s last job was at Marvin’s Manor, where she continued to contribute her skills and warmth until her retirement. Family meant everything to Robyn. She loved her family deeply and was cherished by all who knew her. She will be remembered for her loving spirit and witty personality that brought joy and comfort to her family and friends.

Robyn is survived by her partner of 28 years, John Turner, who stood by her side through many life moments. She is also survived by her daughter Jada Turner and granddaughter Kaya Vanderbush, who brought joy to her life. Further survived by her sisters, Dani (Jeff) Rasmussen, Becky Vanderbush, Kim (Brian) Gauthier, Missy (Mike) Jahn, and her brother Dennis (Donna) Vanderbush, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her son, Tyler Vanderbush, her parents, Jim and Annie Vanderbush, her sister, Penny Vanderbush and lifetime friend Joy Lemke.

A service will be held at 12:00 p.m. noon on Saturday, April 25, 2026, at Cattaraugus Cemetery with Rev. David Knuth officiating, followed by a celebration of Robyn’s life at 503 Maxon Street, Waupun, WI 53963.
