Rosanne Jean Wallendal, age 81 of Oshkosh, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 15, 2025, at Centennial Inn Oshkosh, WI.
Rosie was born on October 6, 1944, in Beaver Dam, WI. She was raised in Waupun, and graduated from Waupun High School in the class of 1963. Throughout her life, Rosie held many jobs that involved working with people, showcasing her natural ability to connect and communicate.
Rosie cherished the moments spent with her family, particularly in the great outdoors. Whether it was hunting, playing cards, or engaging in puzzles, those times were the highlights of her life. She especially adored her visits to Sault Saint Marie, MI, where the beauty of nature added to her joyful spirit.
A passionate sports fan, Rosie was an avid supporter of the Green Bay Packers and the Milwaukee Brewers. Her enthusiasm for these teams brought joy to those around her, uniting family and friends during game days.
Her family and friends acknowledge the compassionate care provided by the caregivers at Centennial Inn, thank you for the kindness shown during her stay.
Rosie is survived by her brother Gary (Deb) Wallendal, sister, Joan (Ron) Hull and sister-in-law, Cindi Wallendal; aunt Marion Dahms, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Marion (Zick) Wallendal brother, Tom Wallendal and her significant other David Smoody; further preceded by many aunts and uncles.
A private graveside will take place at a later date.
